Region 1

 

 

Pat Kerr

Williamsburg Host Lions

Lion Pat Kerr is a member of the Williamsburg Host Lions Club with 20 years perfect attendance.  She has served her club as President twice.  She has been awarded Lion of the Year twice and her club honored her with a Progressive Melvin Jones.  She has received three 100% Secretary Awards, President Excellence Award and two Quality Sponsor Awards.

Lion Pat has served the District in many capacities such as Cabinet Secretary, Zone B Chair, Region I Chair (third time), Fall Conference Chair, and White Cane Chair.  She currently serves on the board of the Sight & Hearing Unit, Secretary for the Lions Charity Foundation, Secretary /Treasurer of the Eyeglass Recycling Center and is LOVF Representative.  She is also a Certified Guiding Lion.

Lion Pat is proud to have received the District Governors Quality Leadership Award, three MD-24 Council of Governors Awards, eleven District Governor Awards, LCF Good Samaritan Fellowship Award, International Leadership Award, International President’s Commendation Award and the International Medal of Achievement.

Lion Pat is married to Lion Paul and they have a son and daughter with three grandsons and two granddaughters. 

    Region 1 is composed of Zones A, B, and C, which range over the northern regions of the district including the peninsula, middle neck and northern neck. Clubs in this region are Gloucester, King William County, Lancaster County, Mathews, Middlesex County, Northumberland County, Tappahannock, James City, New Kent County, Poquoson, Williamsburg Host, York, Denbigh, Hampton Mercury, Hampton Phoebus, Newport News, Northampton, Oyster Point Mariner, and Warwick.

 

 Region 2

 

                                 

 Cecil Smithson

Ocean View Lions

      Region 2 is composed of Zones D, E, and F which range over the southwestern regions of the district from Surry county in the north, to the far western reaches of Southampton county to the west and eastward into Norfolk. Clubs in this region are Chesapeake Host, Churchland, Cradock, Deep Creek, Great Bridge, Portsmouth Children First, Portsmouth Host, Southside, Western Branch, EVMS, Little Creek, Norfolk Host, Norfolk Middle Town, NSU Campus, Norview, Ocean View, Wards Corner, Boykins, Franklin, Smithfield, Suffolk, Surry County, and Windsor.

 Region 3

 

Ron Schneider

Kempsville Lions

    Lion Ron joined Southside Lion Club in 2007 and transferred to the Kempsville Lions Club in 2012.  He considers himself to have been extremely fortunate to have had great Lions in both clubs to mentor and guide him on what it means to be a Lion.  Lion Ron was 2nd and 3rd Vice President at Southside and Vice President and President at Kempsville.  He has also served as Zone E Chair, and has been an Advisory Board member of the Lions Medical Eye Bank for two years.  Lion Don has received a Proud Lion Award, a Proud Lion Sponsor Award and is a Melvin Jones Fellow.  

     Region 3 is composed of Zones G, H, and I which range over the eastern stretches of the district to include the Eastern Shore. Clubs in this region are Oceana-Lynnhaven-Golden, Oceanside, Princess Anne, Thalia, Virginia Beach Central, Virginia Beach Host, Aragona-Pembroke, Bayside, Kempsville, Virginia Beach Town Center Blind, Woodstock, Cape Charles, Central Shore,  and Onancock.
